Pork Carnitas Burrito
Quesadilla is a Mexican dish and type of taco, consisting of a tortilla that is filled mainly with cheese, shredded pork and spices, and then cooked on a fry pan until it is crispy outside and the cheese inside is melted. It is made with flour tortillas particularly in the northern Mexico and southern region of the United States.
Our type of quesadilla consists of a single tortilla that has been filled with cheese, special slow cooked pork with Mexican chillies and spices then folded into a half-moon shape.It is considered a snack or appetizer and it is served with Guacamole, Pico de Gallo and sour cream.
How to serve
Unpacked the Quesadilla, warm in the microwave (frozen as it is) at 500W for 3.5 minutes, then fry pan for 2 minutes until crispy, turning it over after 1 minute.

The pork carnitas quesadillas are delicious and so convenient! I always try to have some in the freezer in case the kids drop by. Just 2 minutes in the microwave (1 minute on each side) for one quesadilla and it is ready to go. I like to have one on top of a bowl of greens. I never want to run out!

Overall pretty good. Much bigger than I expected. Most quesadillas I’ve had in the past were much smaller. If I had to make one suggestion, it would be to maybe use a different kind of cheese. It wasn’t bad, but I felt like a sharper cheese might have made it slightly better, that and it would be nice if it came with a salsa like they do it the restaurant. I might order these again someday.
