The Matsusaka A5 Wagyu Burrito employs a Tex-Mex burrito recipe of beef, beans and cheese that provides a whole new level of quality to this traditional favorite. Our Tex-Mex burrito comes complete with fresh salsa verde (25ml), which is guaranteed to bring intensity to your taste buds.

How to Heat:

This is a very delicate Burrito because it does not include rice, so DO NOT USE THE MICROWAVE to warm it.

Defrost it in the fridge for a minimum of 5 hours or overnight. Wrap the Burrito with aluminum foil and warm it using a fry pan at low heat for 12 minutes, Then uncover the aluminium foil and grill it again for 2 minutes or until the skin gets crispy. If you prefer to use an oven or toaster, warm it for 15min, then grill it on a frypan at low heat for 2 minutes or until the skin gets crispy. Serve the Burrito with our Salsa Verde and your favorite sides as Guacamole, Pico de Gallo, etc.

Very tasty, but portions seem small for the price. It is a premium product though if you don’t mind the price!

Tastes great but I think I just prefer the pork and the meat over this one. I’ll try the lamb one next.

This is perfect for when you’re in the mood for a hamburger but too tired to go buy one. It’s really filling and goes with pretty much any sauce you like.

Overall the burrito was tasty, but it was a little too salty and difficult to eat by hand. Even thought I heated it up using the recommended method written on the site, the inside was too liquidy. I ended up turning it into a “wet” burrito and eating with knife and fork. Smothered with the included green salsa, and added my own Cholula Mexican hot sauce for extra kick.

Looked and felt great after following the preparation directions, but I feel like it was saltier than it should have been. Still tasty, though.

An Amazingly good burrito! Twice as good as the other types? Well, no, but they other types are extremely good too. You really cannot go wrong with any of the burritos from Meat Express. But when the heating instructions say “delicate,” it seems to refer to the tortilla. Because when I followed the heating instructions and wrapped them in foil to heat them in a frying pan on the stove, after the heating time was finished the tortilla was stuck to the foil in many places. I agree that’s probably the best way to do it, and I don’t think putting oil in the foil would taste too good either. Just be prepared for a little sticking to the foil when you unwrap them. All said, these are great and I would buy them again.

Delicious food, but disappointing. Because it was hard to find any meat among the beans and rice

  53. 64

    Michael

The beef is delicious! And a generous portion is given. The tortilla does not hold together as well as it does with the chicken and pork. Luckily I have spoons and forks to get every drop. I will continue to play with the cooking times.

These burritos are amazing! The ones that contain rice really need to be heated in a microwave, but these wagyu burritos thaw beautifully. I love to take one for my bento to work. If I leave it in a warm place in the morning, by lunchtime it is thawed and delicious! So yummy!

While the burrito tasted great, the grease from the meat inside was pretty gnarly. Plan on paper towels to fully enjoy, but what a great combination! Pair with Mexican style corn for a wonderful meal.
