Pork Carnitas Burritos
A flour tortilla filled with Mexican rice, chile con carne, slow-cooked pulled pork, and cheese. Defrost and warm it on a frying pan on low heat. Then add any type of spicy sauce and feel the perfect savory balance of flavors in your mouth. A lot of flavors.

Very delicious! I put it (frozen) in the microwave for 4 minutes and then at 175°C in the air fryer for 4 minutes (2mins on one side, then flipped it for the remaining 2 mins).

My second time getting burritos from Meat Express. I find the fillings to be tasty and the burritos reasonably good value. Preparation is very simple, though I would’ve preferred instructions to be on the product page rather than having to dig through the website (although I just noticed a link in the email, not that I usually read those carefully).

Really good! Again, There were no reheating instructions that I could find, so I threw it in the microwave covered with some plastic wrap and reheated for about 3 or 4 minutes at 500w, the first one exploded because I over heated, but the second one was just right.
I want to add, the salsa (I think is included) is simply amazing, I feel like I’m back in Texas getting fresh salsa from a Mexican supermarket. Also the bottles are adorable (but maybe not eco friendly with all the plastic)

On there own, the burritos are quite filling but a little lacking in variation? We solved this by adding out own sides of chopped tomato, lettuce, refried beans, and especially sour creme. With this it became very balanced.

It’s difficult to get quality Mexican food in Japan. These burritos are some of the better ones I’ve been able to find anywhere. The pork was well-seasoned and it mixed great with the rice, beans, and cheese stuffed inside.
Taking shipping into consideration, the burritos are a bit pricier than I’d like. Still, they were delicious and would consider buying them again (especially if they’re on sale).
