Traditional Mexican broth made from nixtamalized corn grains, pork and Mexican chilies and spices. In Mexico the Pozole is a traditional dish to celebrate Christmas, national holidays and events such as weddings, birthdays, etc.
The Pozole includes:
- 50g Shredded Pork
- 170g Nixtamalized Corn
- 200ml Pozole broth
How to heat
Defrost the broth, the corn grains and the shredded pork in the fridge for a minimum of 6 hours or overnight. Place the broth in a small pot and warm it while adding the corn grains and the shredded pork.
Serving suggestion: add dry oregano, fresh lime, chopped lettuce, chopped onion, sliced radish and sliced avocado.
