Oaxaca Quesadilla Set is a complete set of making your own quesadilla. This gluten free combo comes with:
- 200g Queso Oaxaca
- 10 x Blue Corn Tortillas
- 200g Chicken Carnitas
- 50ml Salsa Verde Sauce
- 50ml Salsa Chipotle Sauce
A. Oaxaca Cheese
Made with full cream milk from the cows on our dairy farm in Nanjo, Okinawa, our Oaxaca cheese gives you a whole new level of quesadilla experience.
B. Blue Corn Tortillas
Made out of 100% Mexican blue corn masa, our Blue Corn Tortillas are gluten free and offer a little stronger and more concentrated flavor than other traditional tortillas.
C. Chicken Carnitas
Our Chicken Carnitas are made out of chicken legs that are marinated and patiently slow cooked for 2 days with citrus juices, onions, garlic, Mexican spices and chilies.
D. Salsa Verde & Chipotle Sauce:
Our handmade Salsa Verde and chipotle is made and mixed with Mexican spices and chilies – it’s fresh and doesn’t contain any preservatives or chemicals.
How to serve
Defrost the corn tortillas and the oaxaca cheese in the fridge for 6 hours or overnight. Heat the Chicken Carnitas in boiling water for 10 minutes – you don’t need to defrost them.
Heat a frypan on medium low heat, place the tortilla and let it warm a bit, then add 20-30g of Queso Oaxaca and 20-30g of Chicken Carnitas, then fold the tortilla in half until gets crispy in both sides. The cheese will beautifully melt (keep an eye to avoid burn it)
Serve Suggestion
Serve with the sauces, guacamole, pico de gallo or your favorite choice of toppings.
