It reminded us of our own traditional cuisine, but made from beans instead.

Not just because it is the only place selling tamales but these have to be the best tamale in Japan!

My son has loved tamales since he was a 3 year-old eating them at the Farmer’s market on Sundays in SoCal. Happy to have found a good source for him, Would like to see a 6-pack with a volume discount. Then you can have a 5!

While it is true tamales are hard to find in Japan, the high price is a bit of a deterrent if you are on a budget. Still, a tasty treat for a special occasion.

I grew up in the LA area (CA, USA) enjoying my Tamales. Spent many weeks & weekends if not months in Mexico as it was a hop, skip & jump away… As a expat now living in Japan the last 16 years & seeking out authentic Tamales here in country I’ve always been disappointed. Finally success! These are fantastic!! Holiday Tamales Yes Yes Yes!!! Thank you!

I personally boiled one as recommended (in package) to test but then stemmed it for a additional 10 mins to fluff it up a bit & get a hot heat thought-out. Perfect!
So moving fwd boil 10 mins, take out of plastic wrapping & steam a addional 10. Well worth the extra work & wait in my eyes. Perhaps
Just me? Looking fwd to the other 3 I purchased just waiting for me on x-mass day.
