We can say with this wonderful product, the most widespread tacos throughout Social Media are proudly made.

Birria is a traditional Mexican dish from Jalisco. This dish consists of a Beef soup stew carefully slowly cooked for hours in the pot and then in the oven. It is made from different cuts of beef (marinated for 1 day), beef bones, and a combination of Mexican chilies and spices. The result is a sweet, sour, slightly spicy and utterly savory Mexican stew that is cooked until the beef is extremely tender and fall-apart juicy and delicious.

Beef Birria is great for making Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas and Sandwiches.

How to heat:

Birria Consome (Soup Stock):
After defrosting the Birria Consome, place it in a small pot and warm it.

Beef Birria:
Reheat the packet by poaching the sealed package for 10 minutes in boiling water (do not open the sealed pack).

Serve the Birria Consome in 2 soup plates topped with the Beef Birria, finely chopped onions, finely chopped cilantro (fresh coriander) and 1/2 lime per plate (freshly squeezed). You can also add for an extra kick any of our Handmade Sauces. We recommend you serve this dish with corn tortillas (white or blue).

How to make Beef Birria Tacos:

  1. Thaw corn tortillas (White/Blue) until room temperature.
  2. After defrosting the Birria Consome, place it in a small pot and warm it.
  3. Reheat the Birria packets by poaching the sealed package for 10 minutes in boiling water (do not open the sealed pack).
  4. Once the Birria is ready, use a frying pan to cook the tortillas on both sides until they get softened and a bit crispy outside. We do not recommend microwaving.
  5. Serve corn tortillas topped with the Birria, finely chopped onions, finely chopped cilantro (fresh coriander) and 1/4 lime per taco (freshly squeezed). You can also add any of our Handmade Sauces for an extra kick.

Serving Recommendation:
Serve the Birria Tacos with the Birria Consome, using this as a dipping sauce adding to it as optional (highly recommended): chopped onions, chopped coriander and fresh lime. Add additionally any of our Handmade Sauces. Enjoy the leftovers of the soup, if there are any.

    Has the very authentic taste of birria from Jalisco Mexico, real birria as such has the tiniest hint of clove and cinnamon and I was surprised to get the hint of these. It is so well balanced that of you don’t know that’s what’s in birria, it would leave you wondering what the flavors are. That is how it should be, we’ll done! ** Do not skip adding the fresh coriander (cilantro) and chopped onion to the top of your tacos and into the consume. Also best to dip your corn tortillas into the consume before warming to keep it more traditional however this was a very lean consume not oily as it normally comes, so you may use a bit of lard to fry the wet tortilla in! Amazing to get this delivered to your door in Japan! Your guys are wonderful. The Chile Arbol sauce tasted extremely authentic and spicy as it should and was one of my favorite items!
